Blog Design – Single e-Learning Lesson

Over time as the popularity of my full blog design course grew, I began to break my course into individual lessons. Not every teacher needed the full course, and breaking my course into single e-learning lessons allowed me to more easily tailor the content to my clients’ individual needs. This design lesson is an example of one of those single lessons that I have shared with numerous clients with great success.

Skills Used

  • Articulate Storyline
  • Storyboarding
  • Graphic Design
  • Instructional Design
  • ADDIE
  • Gamification
  • User Driven Learning
  • Scripting and screen recording

Process

  • Originally was included in my much larger blog professional development course
  • I separated this lesson out to better fit the needs of some of my clients. This particular lesson focuses solely on how to approach designing a teaching blog – both from a pedagogical viewpoint and a web design viewpoint
  • This is one of my most popular single lessons that I offer. Many teachers are overwhelmed by the design aspect, and this course serves to break design down into easily digestible pieces
  • I left the full e-learning frame on this course for easier navigation to the specific components of design that I cover so that my clients can have a full learner-led experience
