Website Design<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

In addition to my instructional design skills, I have been creating websites since I was in high school. I began with creating unique layouts for my friends’ journal sites in high school. I taught myself HTML5 in order to customize sites to my friends’ tastes. Word of my skills quickly spread, and, over the years, I have slowly developed these skills by building sites for local small businesses and artisans as well. In fact, I have built this portfolio site completely using BlueHost and WordPress.org. Although website design is not usually required for instructional design, my knowledge of HTML5 and Java comes in handy when dealing with Learning Management Systems. I have also parlayed this skill into my Teaching Blog Professional Development course that I offer to clients in need of creating or updating their personal teaching blogs. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
